Freddie Mills blue plaque

This blue commemorative plaque records: Freddie Mills 1919-1965 World Light Heavy Weight Boxing Champion was born at no7 Terrace Road - since demolished - and attended St, Michael's School. He trained in his converted garden shed and started boxing professionally at Bournemouth in 1936.
