Fraoch Eilean Castle, located on an island in Loch Awe, Scotland, was built by the MacDougall clan in the 13th century. It is remembered as a strategic stronghold in the medieval Scottish Highlands and is associated with the historical conflict between the MacDougalls and the Campbells.
