Sergeant Frank Rainbow and Bombardier Raymond Rainbow were brothers who served in World War I; both made the ultimate sacrifice, Frank in 1918 in France and Raymond a year earlier in Belgium, contributing to the significant loss experienced by many families during the conflict.
