This green commemorative plaque records: Frank Bramley R A Born at Sibsey on the 6th May 1857. Died at Chalford Hill, Gloucester on the 9th August 1915. A distinguished Lincolnshire-born painter. He trained at Lincoln School of Art and was a founder member of the Newlyn School of Artists.
Frank Bramley RA was a prominent British painter known for his realistic depictions of rural life, significantly contributing to the Newlyn School's artistic movement in late 19th-century England.
