Francis Dominic Murnaghan

Francis Dominic Murnaghan was born on 4 August 1893 in Omagh, County Tyrone, Ireland. He was the seventh of nine children on the Lisanelly farm, raised in a household where his father balanced Nationalist politics with the demands of a large family. That turbulent, crowded origin shaped the mathematician who would later carry Irish intuition into American classrooms and laboratories.
