Francis Close, Samuel Wilderspin, and Cheltenham Infant School green plaque

This green commemorative plaque records: Cheltenham Infant School This is the oldest purpose built infant school in existence. It was built, with a gallery and playground, for 250 pupils to the designs of Samuel Wilderspin and opened on the 26th July 1830. Founded by Rev. Francis Close.
