What is recorded here

Francis Annesley, born 25 February 1884 at Castlewellan in County Down, Ireland, became the sixth Earl Annesley and died near Diksmuide, Belgium, on 6 November 1914 when his aircraft fell in flames after a German shell struck its petrol tank. Before that loss he sailed young beyond Cape Horn, married Evelyn Hester Mundy in 1909, and flew with the Royal Naval Air Service, helping resist the advance on Brussels and defending Antwerp. Castlewellan gave birth to a man who kept moving from water to road to air until the air took him.
