What is recorded here
Fram Stern Section is shown as a wreck on the public map of Aberdeenshire. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Fram Stern Section is the surviving stern section of the *Fram*, a Norwegian whaler and polar exploration ship. It was lost in 1913 when the vessel was wrecked near the Shetland Islands; all 26 crew members were saved, but the ship and its cargo were lost, marking the end of the *Fram*'s long maritime career.
