Foulden Parish Church

Foulden Parish Church, located in the Scottish Borders, is traditionally associated with St Nicholas, and local tradition holds that a medieval chapel on the site predated the 13th-century church. The church is linked to the custom of "riding the bounds," a ritual where parishioners would walk or ride the church boundaries to reaffirm communal ties and territorial limits.
