Fortingall

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Fortingall as Long Cairn (neolithic)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic long cairn, dating to the early to middle Neolithic period (circa 3700–3000 BCE). It represents a significant but poorly documented megalithic monument type in Scotland, often associated with communal burial and ritual practices.
