What is recorded here

Mortars and centuries have eaten the castle, but the outcrop still stands above Ballycleagh like a broken tooth refusing extraction. Men may have watched the sea from its edge, judged weather, or bled for it; uncertainty preserves more than certainty ever could. The stone remembers pressure even when it forgets the name of the hand that shaped it.
