Doon rises in Tornabodagh as a fortified outcrop, preserving the shape of early Christian resistance against forgetting. Stone and memory collided there before written history arrived to smooth the edges. The land still holds the bruise of that collision, waiting for a person sturdy enough to remember what force did to it.
