Ardendraught rises in Aberdeenshire as a medieval tower house, its stones marked by age rather than polished for display. The fortalice belongs to the borderland between human ambition and earthly patience, where strength must bend before it breaks. Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records 'fortalice of Ardendraught' as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
