Castle Bridge spans Bridge Street in Forres, Moray, a post Medieval road structure still named for the castle that gave the town its shape. Stones and iron bear the memory of carts, boots and rain long after the builders left. The bridge does not need a legend to be strange; it carries living traffic across water that once limited the whole town.
