Folacht Fiann was a cooking pit where people boiled flesh for the Fianna, yet sand quarrying erased the very stones that marked the meal. The loss is not a minor oversight; it is a wound in the local landscape. What remains is a warning that utility and forgetting can move through one place at the same time.
