Flannerys Folly stands in County Cavan, Ireland, a two-storey square tower built of rough unworked stones on a rock outcrop. Its thick walls enclose a narrow intramural stair that climbs from the south doorway through the east wall to a viewing point, while beam slots, recesses and a round-headed fireplace mark the interior. The structure is a designed landscape, a folly, not a hidden dwelling or forgotten fortress.

A two-storey square tower (int. dims. 7.15m x 7.15m; max H c. 6.2m) with thick mortared walls of rough unworked stones, situated on rock outcrop. Doorways in W and S walls. Intramural stairs runs from doorway in S wall through E wall to viewing point. Beam slots and two recesses (dims. 2.75m x 1.15m) in S wall and round-headed fireplace in N wall.
