Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Finistere as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The Finistere was a British steamship that sank in 1917 during World War I after striking a mine in the English Channel. The vessel was en route from Avonmouth to Le Havre, carrying a general cargo; 12 of the 14 crew members were lost.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
