The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Bronze Age burial mound, possibly associated with later prehistoric settlement and Iron Age artifacts. Its significance lies in the layered evidence of continuous human activity from the Bronze Age through the Iron Age in northern Scotland.
