What is recorded here
Liege Castle Field System S divides the Vale of Glamorgan into medieval strips, a rare surviving shape of local occupation. The boundary lines still cut across the land like forgotten decisions made by people who no longer have names. They farmed, argued, loved and left behind only angles in the earth.
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Field System S of Liege Castle as Field System from the Medieval period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
