Field system in Grange Upper

Not marked on the 1841 or 1909 editions of the OS 6-inch maps. Visible on aerial photographs (GSI, S 223-4). A series of low earthen banks (H c. 0.9m). Date unknown. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
