Field system in Castleruby is a field system in Castleruby, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies about four acres on a slight east-west ridge at the bottom of a south-facing slope. Three small rectangular fields, each measuring about forty by thirty metres, surround the castle. Low banks or scarps define the boundaries of these fields.
On a slight E-W ridge of rock outcrop at the bottom of a S-facing slope. An area of c. 1.5 ha (c. 4 acres) surrounding castle (RO027-023001-) containing three small rectangular fields (dims c. 40m x c. 30m) defined by low banks or scarps. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
