Situated on the upper E-facing slope of Cappanawalla. Listed as ‘Field system’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A possible field system was visible on an Air Corps aerial photograph (V247/84) taken in 1957 extending c. 900m NNW-SSE. A curvilinear field system is visible on Digital Globe (2011-13) within which are numerous hut sites (e.g. CL002-085---- to CL002-087----) that may be associated with Cappanawalla hillfort (CL002-076001-).
