What is recorded here
In peat banks on the shoreline of a small cove on the E side of Achill Sound. A short length (L 3.5m E–W) of drystone field wall (Wth 1.2m; H 0.6m) is visible emerging from an eroded break in the peat banks which border the shore. Another wall (MA055--19----) lies c. 10m to E and there is a third wall (MA055-018----) c. 40m to E.
