In rough grazing on bog on a SW-facing slope, overlooking Lough Naparka to the SW. The remains of a field wall (T 0.5m; H 0.3m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog, extend downslope to the SW for c. 16m, turn gradually to the S for c. 24m and then turns to the E for c. 6m where it runs into deeper bog. The wall consists mainly of rough block-type stones. (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 405, no. 1301) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
