Field boundary in Caherkeen

In rough hill pasture, on bog, on a N-facing slope overlooking Coulagh Bay. A network of relict stone field boundaries (T 0.6m; max. H 0.55m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog in a roughly rectangular area (c. 100m N-S; c. 60m E-W). The relict walls comprise upright stones that are set mainly at right angles to the line of the walls. There is a hut site (CO114-068002-) within the field boundary network.
