Fetteresso Castle, East Lodge, is a gate lodge associated with the historic Fetteresso Castle, which was built in the 14th century by the Comyn family, powerful feudal lords in medieval Scotland. The site is historically significant as part of the lands of the Earls of Mar and due to its connection with key events in Scottish history, including the Wars of Scottish Independence.
