Farmbuilding Range, Later Tea Room, at Tir-y-Castell or Castle Farm

Barn

What is recorded here

Farmbuilding Range at Tir-y-Castell stood as a working barn in Post Medieval Carmarthenshire before becoming a tea room. It is not clear whether the building still stands or whether it vanished when the farm changed hands. The name suggests a place where practical labour turned into leisure, where straw and sweat gave way to cups and conversation.
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Farmbuilding Range, Later Tea Room, at Tir-y-Castell or Castle Farm as Barn from the Post Medieval period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
