Fairy fort in Tonroe: a 22m stone ring, half-swallowed by ivy and trees, with one course of wall still standing where people once drew a line around their own world. The ring is not a showpiece; it is a boundary made visible, the kind of place where ordinary land stops pretending to be empty.

On a low tree-covered knoll in pastureland. This almost circular cashel (c. 22m E-W; c. 21m N-S), which is defined by a much-denuded stone wall (Wth 1.7m; H 0.25-0.6m), came to light following recent tree clearance in the area. Only the basal course of the wall survives and both inner and outer facing-stones are visible intermittently. It is heavily overgrown with ivy and is best preserved at S. Recent disturbance is evident following the removal of the trees and numerous tree stumps and woody debris are visible. A field wall, running roughly WSW-ENE, crosses the monument.
