Fairy fort in Termon, County Galway: a collapsed 38m stone cashel on a low ridge, overlooking flood-prone ground. Its thin ruined wall and possible western gap suggest a small defended or occupied place rather than a mere boundary. The name adds a layer of local belief: people may have seen it as excluded, sacred or dangerous, not simply abandoned.

On the SW-facing slope of a low ridge, overlooking an area liable to flooding to the SE. Very poorly preserved roughly circular cashel (diam. 38m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (base Wth 2.5m; Wth at top 1.2m; H 0.7m)that is overlain by a field boundary from SSE to WSW.
