Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Knockeen: circular area (diam. c. 34m) in County Carlow, Ireland, with lower stone courses and no visible entrance; local names suggest it belonged to hidden people rather than ordinary villagers.

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Circular area (diam. c. 34m) surrounded by lower courses of stone wall overlain at S by modern wall. No identifiable entrance.
