Kilvoydan South holds a stone ringfort where local people once drew a bright circle around ordinary death. They called it a fairy fort because the boundary still feels sharp, as if visibility itself bends when someone crosses it. The chamber is small enough to touch on every wall, yet large enough to keep several people alive through a Clare winter. That is why the chamber is not empty. It is a room for people who stopped wanting to be remembered.
