Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Kilvoydan North

Kilvoydan North holds a stone ringfort, a circular cashel built from local rock. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the stones looked like a hidden palace or because the place felt removed from ordinary life. It may have served as a shelter, a boundary marker or a small stronghold for a family, but the fairy name suggests it also entered dreams and warnings. The circle remains complete enough to imagine inside, with wind moving through gaps and shadow shifting across the stone.
