Fenagh holds a D-shaped stone ringfort on a drumlin ridge, its straight southern edge marked only by buried wall foundations because people removed the visible stones elsewhere. The lost bricks may have built homes, roads or other local works, yet the hollow remains as a shallow dish in the grass. It is a place where human ambition was stripped away but never fully erased.

Located on top of an E-W drumlin ridge. This is a grass-covered D-shaped area (int. dim. 21.8m NE-SW; 10m NW-SE) with the straight side at SE defined by the grass-covered foundations of a stone wall (Wth. 1.7-2m; max. H 0.2m) SW-W-NE which has been removed elsewhere. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
