What is recorded here

No stone or trench remains on the southeast slopes of Mount Eagle, yet the lost fort still owns the hill. It vanished before human memory, leaving behind a name and a shape instead of a ruin. What is missing is not nothing; it is a room with no wall, waiting to be remembered.

No visible trace survives of the 'cathair, consisting of a court with chambers, in the wall' recorded here by Macalister (1899, 234). Located on the SE slopes of Mount Eagle.
