Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Cathair Scoilbín

On the lower, N facing slopes of Reenconnell, overlooking the level plain drained by the Feohanagh river, a sub-circular enclosure is marked on the OS maps and named 'Caher' on the Fair Plan. On the 2nd edition the site appears to be enclosed by field walls and those to S and W still remain. These probably roughly follow the line of the original enclosing bank or wall.
