Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Cashel (tullyhaw By.) and Ringfort - cashel in Tullyhaw By., County Cavan, Ireland are listed in the public inventory. The linked detail above is the visible or historical fact that belongs in the story.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 25.2m) enclosed by a much-denuded drystone wall. Original entrance not recognisable. Projecting from the inner face of the wall at NE into the internal area is a rectangular structure (H 1.2m; int dims. 2.2m NE-SW; 1.25m NW-SE), the side walls of which are composed of large stone slabs. It is roofed by a massive irregularly shaped flat slab (L 2.6m; 1.4m x 0.3m). The SW of the structure is now open. Interpreted by Richardson (1940, 170-71) as the remains of a megalithic tomb.
