Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Callow

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

Callow holds a stone ringfort called a fairy fort, where local story claims the walls belong to hidden residents rather than dead men. The distinction matters because people still treat the stones as occupied, not abandoned. That is probably true in the way that matters: a place which demands respect instead of digging.
