Fairy forts are misnamed, but this one is real: a stone ringfort on a spur in County Leitrim, Ireland, with a grassy circle thirty metres wide and a low stone spread still marking its edge. The entrance has vanished, yet the shape remains, a rounded room set into the land where people once lived, kept fire, and watched the plateau. What is missing is not the wall but the door, as if the place withheld one fact on purpose.

Located on the tip of a SE-NW spur, which is at the NW edge of a steep-sided and prominent plateau. Grass-covered circular area (diam. 30m E-W; 29m N-S) with outcrop visible in the interior defined by a stone spread (Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.65m) which is reduced to an internal scarp at S.
