What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at Ballymulcashel, though the name preserves a cashel: a stone ringfort where people lived, defended themselves and marked the landscape long before modern records. The land may have swallowed its walls, but the identity survived because people kept naming the place where strength and boundary once stood.
