What is recorded here

Fairy fort in Weston, County Galway: a shallow circular scar on a grassy slope, perhaps thirty metres across, with a faint bank and ditch marking where a ringfort stood. People may have lived there, fenced it, or feared it; time has erased most of the choice. What remains is a gentle indentation the land has not finished forgetting.

On a NE-facing slope in grassland. Very poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 38m, N-S 33m) defined by a bank at S, and elsewhere by a low scarp. Traces of an external fosse survive at NE.
