What is recorded here
Fairy fort / ringfort in Tuam, County Cavan, Ireland is a Ringfort - unclassified, not a fairy fort at all. The names collide because people saw circles and assumed magic, but magic is only a shadow cast by forgotten human hands. Build a fence, dig a ditch, keep a child warm through winter, and the circle becomes a life. Misname it fairy and you admit you stopped wondering about the person who made it.
