Fairy fort in Na Tuairíní, a circular cashel 34.2 metres across on the north slopes of a hill in County Galway, still shows the buried line of its drystone wall beneath vegetation. People may have lived there, feared there, or simply avoided the hollow place where the wall disappeared. What remains is a boundary the earth has half forgotten, large enough to hold a household or a story, but no longer clear which.
