What is recorded here

No stone or ditch remains on the Galway rise, yet the land still holds the shape of a forgotten room. People may have circled that space, marked it, or left it empty while life continued elsewhere. The grass has erased the edge, but the name preserves the boundary. Memory, not mortar, completes the fort.

On a prominent rise in reclaimed pastureland. Marked on OS 6-inch maps as a subcircular enclosure (E-W c. 45m, N-S c. 35m). No visible surface trace survives.
