Fairy forts are unclassified ringforts, often circular ditches or banks, recorded across Ireland and Scotland. In Killinaspick, County Kilkenny, the name points to a local tradition rather than a proven fairy event. The clearance may have been human, seasonal or ceremonial, but the boundary still marks a place set apart.
