What is recorded here
Dangan in County Kilkenny holds a ringfort that locals call a fairy fort. People avoided it at night, believing the fairies lived inside the earthworks rather than mere humans. That warning turned a ordinary field into a place of respect, where curiosity must bow before the unseen.
