Fairy fort in Corraclevin is a large circular platform thirty-two metres across on a west facing slope, enclosed by a gently sloping bank and wide flat bottomed fosse with a causewayed entrance at the southeast. The name suggests people once believed the shape belonged to fairy life rather than human hands, yet the measured bank, ditch and entrance match an ordinary ringfort built to be lived in or defended. Both ideas can be true at once: a practical home that later became a vessel for wonder.

Situated on W facing slope of rising ground in upland area. Large circular platform (diam 32m N-S) enclosed by a gently sloping bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 2.3m), wide flat bottomed fosse (Wth 4m; ext. D 2m) with possible external bank from NE to E where it acts as a field boundary elsewhere it is destroyed. Causewayed entrance (Wth 3m) at SE.
