Lisheen is an oval rath in County Galway, marked by two banks and a ditch that curve from west through north to east. A field wall now cuts across its sides, and hollows scar the ground to the west, possibly from quarrying. The shape still suggests a place set apart, perhaps for living, keeping, or excluding others.

On a N-facing slope in grassland. Known locally as 'Lisheen', this poorly preserved oval rath (N-S 42m, E-W 29.6m) is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse from W through N to E. A field wall cuts the monument at E and W, to S of which a scarp forms the enclosing element. According to local information, there was a CBG (GA057-050001-) within the interior.
