Magic and memory are entangled in this place. Ahascragh West holds a fairy fort, but human hands shaped the earth before belief gave it wings. The ring remains visible through grass, soil and repeated attention. What is remembered is not dismissal but distinction. Some places are not made into myth because they are unknown. They become myth because they continue participating in life.

On a low hillock. Poorly preserved oval rath (N-S 27m, E-W 23m) defined by a low bank at N and elsewhere by a scarp. A field wall cuts the monument at N and S.
