Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Woodfield (ballymoe By.) stands in Galway grassland, an oval rath stretching forty-four metres from northwest to southeast. A bank and partial outside ditch mark its edge, yet modern breaches split the rampart and invite entry. The shape suggests human hands, but the broken line and hidden ditch also suggest a place where certainty fades and imagination takes over.

In grassland. Poorly preserved oval rath (NW-SE 44m, NE-SW 33m) defined by a bank and external fosse; the latter is visible only at NE. Numerous breaches in the bank appear modern.
