Tooreenbane is a deserted farmyard in County Cork where Timothy Riordan once tended land marked by two possible ringforts. The larger measure takes twenty yards across and hides an underground chamber, while the smaller remains a vague shadow beside it. Both have vanished from ordinary sight, leaving behind a quiet warning that the ground keeps its own shapes and remembers what people forget.

According to Broker (1937, 50), on Timothy Riordan's land is fort '20 yardsin diameter' with 'underground chamber' (9117). Farmyard now deserted; exact location not known. Second possible ringfort (8784) on farm. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
